Terms & Conditions | JellyBeans PlayCare Center

Last updated: March 23, 2026

These terms outline what you can expect from JellyBeans PlayCare Center and what we expect from the families we serve. By enrolling your child, you agree to these terms.

Enrollment and Services

JellyBeans PlayCare Center provides childcare services for children in Twin Falls, Idaho. Enrollment is subject to availability and completion of all required forms, including:

  • Enrollment application with parent/guardian and co-parent information (where applicable)
  • Child information including date of birth, gender, medical details, and potty training status
  • Emergency contact and authorized pickup list with driver's license numbers for identity verification
  • Medical information, allergy disclosures, dietary restrictions, and medication details
  • Custody agreements or pickup restriction documentation (if applicable)
  • Signed acknowledgment of these terms

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue enrollment if we determine we cannot adequately meet a child's needs or if these terms are not followed.

It is your responsibility to keep enrollment information current. Please notify us promptly if there are changes to contact information, medical details, authorized pickup persons, custody arrangements, or any other information provided during enrollment.

Co-Parent and Second Guardian

During enrollment, you may provide information about a co-parent or second guardian. This information is optional and is used to:

  • Establish a secondary point of contact for your child's care
  • Determine whether the co-parent is authorized for child pickup
  • Create a separate contact record in our system so both parents receive communications about their child

By providing co-parent information on the enrollment form, you confirm that you have the co-parent's permission to share their contact details with JellyBeans PlayCare Center, or that doing so is consistent with any applicable custody or guardianship arrangements.

Drop-Off and Pickup

  • Children must be signed in and out by a parent, guardian, or authorized pickup person each day
  • Only individuals listed on the authorized pickup form may collect your child
  • Photo ID required — we may request a valid driver's license or government-issued photo ID from anyone picking up a child, particularly for individuals our staff have not previously met. Driver's license numbers collected during enrollment are used solely for identity verification purposes
  • If someone not on the authorized list needs to pick up your child, we must receive advance written or verbal authorization from a parent or guardian
  • Late pickups may be subject to additional fees (see Payment Terms below)

Pickup Restrictions and Custody

If there are individuals who are NOT authorized to pick up your child due to custody agreements, restraining orders, or other legal situations:

  • You must disclose this information during enrollment and provide supporting documentation when possible
  • We will follow your written instructions regarding restricted individuals
  • In the event a restricted individual attempts pickup, we will not release the child and will immediately contact the enrolling parent/guardian and, if necessary, local authorities
  • It is your responsibility to keep restriction information and custody documentation current

Payment Terms

  • Billing: Childcare fees are billed on a regular schedule as outlined during enrollment. Payment is due on the date specified
  • Accepted methods: We accept payments through our secure online system, as well as other methods communicated during enrollment
  • Late payments: Payments not received by the due date may be subject to a late fee. If payment is significantly overdue, care may be suspended until the balance is resolved
  • Refunds: Fees are generally non-refundable for days your child does not attend. Specific refund situations (illness, family emergency) will be handled on a case-by-case basis
  • Rate changes: We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any changes to our rates

Health, Safety, and Medical Authorization

Illness Policy

  • Children who are visibly sick (fever of 100.4°F or higher, vomiting, diarrhea, contagious conditions, or undiagnosed rash) should not be brought to the center
  • If your child becomes ill during the day, we will contact you for pickup as soon as possible. If we cannot reach you, we will contact your listed emergency contacts in order
  • Children sent home due to illness must be symptom-free for at least 24 hours (without fever-reducing medication) before returning to care
  • We maintain a clean, sanitized environment and follow all applicable Idaho childcare health guidelines

Medications

We will only administer medication with written parent authorization and clear dosage instructions. All medications must be in their original labeled containers with the child's name, dosage, and administration schedule.

Allergies and Dietary Needs

All known allergies, dietary restrictions, and special dietary needs must be disclosed at enrollment and updated as needed. We take food allergies and medical conditions seriously and will work with you on an appropriate care plan. If your child has a severe allergy requiring an EpiPen or similar device, you must provide the medication along with a completed action plan.

First Aid Authorization

During enrollment, you will be asked whether you authorize JellyBeans PlayCare Center to administer basic first aid to your child. This includes cleaning and bandaging minor cuts, scrapes, and bumps that may occur during normal play. First aid authorization is optional but strongly recommended. In the event of a medical emergency, we will always call 911 first, then contact you and your listed emergency contacts immediately.

Sunscreen Authorization

During enrollment, you may authorize JellyBeans PlayCare Center to apply sunscreen to your child before outdoor activities. If authorized, we will use a broad-spectrum, child-safe sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher). If your child requires a specific sunscreen due to skin sensitivity or allergies, please provide it labeled with your child's name.

Special Needs and Accommodations

If your child has special needs, we are happy to discuss reasonable accommodations. Please disclose any special needs or required accommodations during enrollment so we can determine whether we can provide appropriate care.

Potty Training

We accept children at all stages of potty training. During enrollment, you'll let us know your child's potty training status (not started, in training, or independent). We will work with your family's approach and communicate progress with you. Please send extra clothes and supplies as needed.

Liability

While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure the safety of children in our care:

  • JellyBeans PlayCare Center is not liable for minor scrapes, bumps, or injuries that occur during normal childhood play and activities
  • We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings — please label all items with your child's name
  • Parents and guardians agree to hold JellyBeans PlayCare Center harmless for incidents that occur despite our reasonable safety measures, including the administration of first aid and sunscreen where authorized

Behavior and Conduct

We believe every child deserves a safe and supportive environment. During enrollment, we ask about your child's comfort in new settings and what helps them when they're upset — this helps us provide the best possible care from day one.

If a child's behavior consistently poses a safety risk to themselves, other children, or staff, we will:

  • Work with the family to develop a plan that supports the child
  • Communicate concerns clearly and collaborate on solutions
  • If necessary, and only after other options have been explored, we may determine that our program is not the right fit

Media Release and Photo/Video Consent

JellyBeans PlayCare Center may photograph or record video of children during activities, events, and daily care. We will only use these images with your explicit permission, and you choose exactly how they may be used.

During enrollment, you will be asked to consent (or decline) for each of the following uses separately:

  • Internal use only — classroom displays, staff training, private communications with your family (e.g., daily activity updates sent directly to you)
  • Program website and printed materials — our website, brochures, flyers, and other marketing materials created by or for JellyBeans PlayCare Center
  • Social media — our official social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, or other platforms)

Your rights regarding media consent:

  • Consent is entirely optional — declining will not affect your child's enrollment or quality of care in any way
  • You may consent to some uses and decline others (for example, you may allow internal use but not social media)
  • You may withdraw consent at any time by notifying us in writing at [email protected] or in person. Withdrawal applies to future use — we will make reasonable efforts to remove previously shared content, but cannot guarantee removal from third-party platforms
  • Children whose parents have not given consent will not appear in any published photos or videos
  • We will never sell photos or videos of children to third parties
  • Staff are trained to identify which children have media consent and will take care to exclude children without consent from group photos shared publicly

By providing media consent during enrollment, you acknowledge that:

  • You are the parent or legal guardian of the child and have the authority to grant this consent
  • You release JellyBeans PlayCare Center from liability related to the use of photos or videos within the scope of your consent
  • No compensation will be provided for the use of your child's image
  • Images will be used in a manner consistent with the care and values of JellyBeans PlayCare Center

This policy complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Idaho parental consent requirements. If you have questions about our media practices, contact us at [email protected] or call (208) 595-0064.

Text Message (SMS/MMS) Communications

During enrollment, you may opt in to receive text messages from JellyBeans PlayCare Center. Your consent is completely voluntary and is not required for enrollment or to receive childcare services.

Types of Messages

  • Transactional messages — drop-off and pickup reminders, schedule confirmations, care updates, billing reminders, and emergency notifications. Message frequency varies based on your child's care schedule.
  • Marketing messages — special offers, event announcements, and program updates. Sent only if you separately opt in. Frequency may vary.

Message Terms

  • Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless carrier and plan
  • You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us
  • Reply HELP for assistance or contact us at (208) 595-0064
  • Opting out of marketing messages will not affect transactional messages, and vice versa
  • Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of enrollment or purchasing any goods or services
  • We do not share your phone number or opt-in consent with third parties for their marketing purposes

Supported carriers include major US carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others). Carrier support may vary. For complete details on how we handle your information, see our Privacy Policy.

Termination and Cancellation

  • By you: If you need to withdraw your child, we ask for at least two weeks' written notice so we can plan accordingly
  • By us: We may end enrollment if there are repeated policy violations, unpaid balances, or situations where we cannot meet a child's needs despite reasonable efforts. We will provide as much notice as the situation allows
  • Immediate termination: In cases involving safety threats or serious policy violations, enrollment may be terminated immediately

Communication

We communicate with families through email, text message, phone calls, and in-person conversations. By enrolling, you agree to receive communications related to your child's care. If a co-parent or second guardian is listed on the enrollment form, they may also receive care-related communications. Marketing messages require separate opt-in consent — see the Text Message section above and our Privacy Policy for details.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as our programs and policies evolve. We will notify families of significant changes through our regular communication channels. Continued enrollment after changes are communicated constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Immunization Records — Idaho Code 39-1118

Idaho law (Idaho Code 39-1118) requires that each child attending a licensed daycare facility have a current immunization record or a signed exemption form on file with the provider. By submitting immunization records through our upload form, you agree to the following:

14-Day Requirement

  • You must provide your child's immunization record within fourteen (14) days of your child's first day of attendance at JellyBeans PlayCare Center
  • If your child is not fully immunized for their age, immunizations must be started within 14 days and proof provided to the center
  • Failure to provide records or an exemption within 14 days may result in your child being excluded from the facility until documentation is received

Valid Immunization Records

Under Idaho law, a valid immunization record must be confirmed by a licensed health care professional (physician, physician's representative, or health department). The record must include:

  • Child's full name and date of birth
  • Type of vaccine given (DTaP, MMR, Polio, etc.)
  • Date each dose was administered (month/day/year)
  • Signature or stamp of the physician, physician's representative, or health department
  • Signature of the parent or guardian

Records generated by childcare management software (Procare, Kingarootime, Kindertales, EZCare, or similar programs) do not qualify as valid immunization records under Idaho law. Acceptable documents include official records from your child's pediatrician, family doctor, health clinic, local health department, or the Idaho IRIS (Immunization Reminder Information System) registry.

Required Immunizations

Per IDAPA 16.02.11, Section 100, the following nine vaccinations are required for children attending licensed child care in Idaho, administered age-appropriately per the current ACIP schedule:

  • Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Acellular Pertussis (DTaP)
  • Polio (IPV)
  • Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR)
  • Haemophilus Influenzae Type B (HIB)
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella (Chickenpox)
  • Pneumococcal (PCV)
  • Rotavirus
  • Hepatitis A

For the current recommended immunization schedule, visit the CDC Immunization Schedules page.

Exemptions

Idaho law provides three categories of exemption from immunization requirements:

  • Medical exemption: A certificate signed by a licensed physician stating that the child's life or health would be at risk if any or all required immunizations were given
  • Prior immunity: Written medical proof that the child is already immune to any of the nine diseases, or a physician's statement that the child was previously diagnosed and treated for Measles, Mumps, or Rubella
  • Religious or personal objection: A signed written statement from the parent or guardian stating their objection on religious or other grounds

Only official Idaho Department of Health and Welfare exemption forms will be accepted. Exemption documentation must be provided within 14 days of enrollment. For exemption forms, contact your local health district or visit the Idaho DHW School and Daycare Information page.

JellyBeans PlayCare Center reserves the right to develop policies regarding immunization that are more stringent than state law. Children with exemptions on file may be temporarily excluded from the facility if an outbreak of any of the nine vaccine-preventable diseases occurs, in order to protect the health of all children.

Conditional Attendance

A child who is not fully immunized for their age but has begun the required immunizations within 14 days of first attendance may be conditionally admitted while completing the vaccination series, provided proof of initiation is given to the center. Continued attendance is contingent upon staying on schedule.

Record Retention and Confidentiality

Under IDAPA 16.02.11, Section 200.02, JellyBeans PlayCare Center is required to retain each child's immunization documentation for as long as the child attends the facility plus one (1) year after the child's last day of attendance. Records are stored securely and accessible only to authorized staff. Your child's immunization records will not be shared with third parties except as required by law, for licensing inspections, or during a public health investigation.

Your Responsibilities

By submitting immunization records, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are the parent or legal guardian of the child named in the submission, or have legal authority to provide this information on their behalf
  • The immunization records you upload are true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge
  • You are responsible for keeping records up to date as additional doses are administered
  • Failure to provide valid documentation within 14 days of enrollment may result in your child being excluded from attending until records are received

Our Responsibilities

JellyBeans PlayCare Center commits to providing parents with information about immunization requirements and the recommended immunization schedule (per IDAPA 16.02.11, Section 200.01), reviewing records upon receipt, maintaining immunization files on-site during all hours of operation, and enforcing the 14-day compliance window required by Idaho Code 39-1118.
